Ask Texas Governor Abbott to Veto Discriminatory Legislation!

The Texas Legislature has less than a week until the end of session, and multiple anti-LGBTQ bills are on their way to the Governor’s desk. From religious refusals to bathroom bills, we are facing an all out assault on LGBTQ Texans from the legislature. Amid rumors of a special session to focus on multiple issues, including bathrooms, there is only one person who can stop this: Governor Abbott.

All eyes are on Texas right now. National outcry over bills like the bathroom bill SB2078 and the discriminatory child welfare bill HB3859 has been deafening. Session ends on May 29th, and Governor Abbott has a chance to veto anti-LGBTQ legislation and not call a special session. We need to make sure he knows that we do not discriminate in the Lone Star state.

But it’s not over yet. Contact Governor Abbott and ask him to veto HB 3859 and SB 2078 and tell him NOT to call a special session.
