As the COVID-19 vaccine rollout in the United States continues, it has become clear that there remains some hesitancy with the vaccines and a need for community outreach and education. The LGBTQ community holds a diverse array of concerns about the vaccine, ranging from concerns about side effects to perceived costs of obtaining the vaccine.
While acknowledging this mistrust and hesitancy, the Human Rights Campaign seeks to answer community questions about the COVID-19 vaccines so as to better protect LGBTQ people from the virus, especially those in communities of color.
