Join HRC Utah for a special event dedicated to women around the world and in our community. We welcome you to join us for a delicious brunch, drinks, raffle items, and live music. Featuring remarks from

Kathryn Bond Stockton is an avid activist for and scholar of LGBTQ issues, having received the Allies Award from Equality Utah in 2015 and a finalist for the Lambda Literary Award in 2010, just to name a few. Currently, Kathryn is the Dean of the School for Cultural and Social Transformation, Associate Vice President for Equity and Diversity, and a Distinguished Professor at the University of Utah.Kate Kelly is a zealous advocate and passionate activist, and she loves engaging in local politics and serves on the board of Utah Women Unite, a local grassroots organization that advocates for women’s rights and political empowerment. Kate has a JD from American University Washington College of Law, the only law school in the world found by, and for, women. She has been a vocal women’s rights champion in Utah, and in 2013, Kate founded a group called Ordain Women to advocate for gender equality in the Mormon Church. She was excommunicated from the church in June 2014 for speaking out against the fundamental exclusion of women, but her work for women’s equality continues unabated.
