Thank Modern Family’s cast & crew for 11 groundbreaking seasons!

After 11 incredible seasons, Modern Family airs its series finale on Wednesday — ending with a legacy that will live well beyond its decade-plus run.

Time and time again, the show transformed people’s perceptions of the LGBTQ community through characters like Mitchell and Cam, a married same-sex couple trying to raise a family, and showed Americans that queer people can have the same hopes, dreams and ambitions in life as everyone else.

From marriage to adoption, the show used humor and heart to teach its viewers invaluable lessons on the importance of LGBTQ visibility and embracing family — chosen or otherwise — as they are.

To celebrate Modern Family’s show-stopping end, the Human Rights Campaign is putting together a special digital thank you letter to the show's cast and crew. Add your name!

To the cast and crew of Modern Family,

Thank you for eleven incredible seasons of laughter, love and lessons on the importance of embracing family just as they are. In just over a decade, your show helped transform people’s perceptions of the LGBTQ community and showed the world that queer people are just like everyone else.

From the bottom of my heart, I am so grateful for your work. It changed hearts and minds across the country — and, through those changes in perceptions, you helped make the critical work on behalf of LGBTQ equality that much more possible.

Thank you so much for everything!
