The Texas Senate has passed SB 2485, SB 2486, and SB 2487. These bills would gut the non-discrimination ordinances that protect millions of Texans by preventing cities from ensuring that employers administer benefits, sick leave, and scheduling policies on an equal basis. The bills now go to the House State Affairs Committee. Please ask committee members to vote NO on the SB 15 spin-off bills: SB 2485, SB 2486 and SB 2487.
