Share Your Story

HRC’s staff is looking for LGBTQ Americans who are willing to share their personal experiences with discrimination. Now more than ever, it's vitally important to share personal stories as we work to pass the Equality Act -- a landmark federal non-discrimination bill.

Sharing personal stories is a critical way for LGBTQ people to help advance our movement.

If you've experienced discrimination, either in the workplace or elsewhere, share your story and we'll follow up with you about the best ways you can tell your story and make a difference in passing the Equality Act in Congress.

STEP 1: Tell us a bit about you.

You will receive email updates from HRC. You can unsubscribe at any time. By providing my mobile phone number, I agree that HRC and its agents may contact me by mobile phone call regarding HRC programs and ways to take action.

STEP 2: Tell us what happened.

STEP 3: Demographic information.

Please note, this step is optional.

HRC does not provide legal advice or legal referrals. Consult a lawyer to understand whether you have any claims under current law related to any incident of discrimination. Any information you provide to HRC should be true to the best of your knowledge, and not infringe upon the rights of any third party.
