Our country and our servicemembers deserve better!
The “Secretary of War” is a danger and an embarrassment:
- He joyfully fired thousands of highly qualified, highly trained transgender servicemembers and has made anti-trans slurs a feature of his regular stump speech.
- He intentionally singled out Black and women officers to block their promotions.
- He said ending the ban on gay, lesbian and bisexuals serving in the military was part of a “Marxist agenda.”
- He has violated the First Amendment countless times by banning media outlets from the Pentagon.
- He has created a culture of fear and silence throughout the Pentagon and threatens unit cohesion and troop morale, when our servicemembers need it most.
- And, of course, all of this is happening while he’s putting troops on American streets, running a catastrophic war in Iran that is making costs for our community skyrocket, with no end in sight...
It’s time for a change — we must stand together and push for Hegseth’s removal now. Our country and our servicemembers deserve better!
Our country learned a long time ago that having a military that includes all types of people makes it strong. Join HRC’s call for Hegseth’s removal, and let’s begin to restore dignity and effectiveness at the Pentagon.
