Anti-LGBTQ+ and anti-immigrant, Kristi Noem cares nothing about Homeland Security for all Americans.

After the brutal and senseless killings of Renee Nicole Good and Alex Pretti by federal agents, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem rushed to assert that these victims were perpetuating acts “domestic terrorism.” 

However, analyses of multiple videos contradict Noem’s wrong and reckless accounts of events, and now the FBI has continued to limit state and local law enforcement from participating in the official investigations.

These horrific actions need an independent, full and fair investigation that includes state and local law enforcement, real accountability and decisive action — not hyperbole and lies, interfering with the investigation and sidelining local officials.

We now call for the impeachment of Kristi Noem as Homeland Security Secretary and the inclusion of state and local law enforcement in the investigations of the killing. And as Governor Walz requested, we join the nation in standing with the people of Minneapolis.
