Download HRC's GUIDEBOOK FOR ACTION

HRC has officially declared a state of emergency for LGBTQ+ people in the United States for the first time in our more than 40-year history, following a dangerous and unprecedented spike in anti-LGBTQ+ legislative assaults sweeping the states this year.

The sharp rise in domestic anti-LGBTQ+ hate has spawned a dizzying patchwork of discriminatory state laws that have created increasingly hostile and dangerous environments for LGBTQ+ people across the country. To keep our members informed and able to respond appropriately, we've issued a national warning and downloadable guidebook that provides a critical summary of state-by-state laws, “know your rights” information as well as resources for LGBTQ+ travelers and people already living in hostile states.

Add your name below and get the guidebook resource as well as our new report LGBTQ+ Americans Under Attack — covering the more than 75 anti-LGBTQ+ bills have been signed into law this year alone.
